Quality tuning following yield optimization.
After screening for yield, we generally tune the upstream conditions in order to maximize yield, focusing around the parameter space of a set of high-yielding conditions.
The results of one such screen are shown here. There is a relatively modest spread in relative yields, both in absolute terms (5x only) and when viewed as a distribution - two conditions stand out as high-yielding but with low quality, with all other conditions clustering around a particular yield.
This screen succeeded in revealing quality differences across the lower-yielding conditions, which proved valuable in later-stage manufacturing.
